Zeftron Nylon is the only commercial nylon of its kind to be a Cradle to Cradle Certified(TM) Silver yarn product available to carpet manufacturers. Zeftron nylon is a proven environmentally responsible yarn system that is 100 percent closed-loop recyclable at the end of its useful life. Backed by constant research and product innovation, all Zeftron nylon yarns come standard with a minimum 25 percent recycled content in every color.
Zeftron nylon is Cradle to Cradle Certified(TM) Silver because of the use of environmentally safe and healthy materials, design for material reutilization, use of renewable energy and energy efficiency, efficient use of water and maximum water quality associated with production, and instituting strategies for social responsibility.

The Bloom Collection: Flora made by Aqua Hospitality with Zeftron nylon
In addition to Zeftron nylon, an MBCD Cradle to CradleCM certified product that comes standard with a minimum of 25 percent recycled content, each Bloom tile product is backed with Aqua’s revolutionary Nexterra carpet tile backing system. Nexterra is made from 40 percent post-consumer recycled content. Additionally, all Aqua cushion contains 70 percent pre-consumer recycled content and 30 percent post-consumer recycled content. Specification of Bloom products can contribute towards LEED credits, and the products are eligible for reclamation and recycle at the end of their useful lifecycle.

As the year comes to an end we’re taking a look back at some of the highlights. This summer Zeftron and one of its mill partners won a hospitality industry award for a stunning commercial carpet collection geared specifically for the hospitality market.
The Bloom collection from Aqua Hospitality Carpets received a Reader’s Choice Certificate of Excellence Award from HA+D magazine. The collection won in the flooring category after being evaluated by a panel of industry judges and an online voting period by the magazine’s readers. According to HA+D, Bloom represents the best in creativity and sustainability in its design, manufacturing and end-use application. Judging was based on the product’s environmental values, its current availability and its aesthetics for pattern, color and texture.
Utilizing Zeftron’s rich color palette and styling capabilities, each product in the collection offers striking organic patterns, coloration and texture.
